'The Anne-Droid'
Name: Anne-Droid
First Appearance: Bad Wolf/The Parting of the Ways (2005)

The Anne-Droid was a robot based on human Anne Robinson, which was used to host the Weakest Link on the Game Station by the Bad Wolf Corporation after the falls of the Mighty Jagrafess of the Holy Hadrojassic Maxarodenfoe in the year 200,000.

[edit] Bad Wolf

In Bad Wolf it is seen hosting a game involving, among others, Rose Tyler and the eventual winner, Roderick. This game takes place in the year 200,100. The Anne-Droid becomes the first character on Doctor Who to mention the Torchwood Instistute, which would later become an ongoing arc word. Any player who would lose or run away from the game would automatically be "disintegrated" by the Anne-Droid. However, at the end of the episode, Captain Jack Harkness discovers that the players aren't actually disintegrated. Instead, they are transported via a transmat system to the Dalek ship.

[edit] The Parting of the Ways

In The Parting of the Ways, Captain Jack Harkness programs the Anne-Droid to attack three Daleks that entered the Game Station. The transmat would have transported the Daleks back to their ship. The Anne-Droid has to take the time to say "You are the weakest link. Goodbye" every time it uses the transmat, which gives time for a fourth Dalek to destroy it.

The Anne-Droid also makes a short appearance in a special episode of the Weakest Link featuring the characters of Doctor Who in 2007.
